It was a splendid day today, with sun and warmth. The weather was very lovely. I was very happy as well. I had some succes with my lesson on Zoom and I received sweet flowers from my students, peonies. I walked in the countryside again. All the plants are very green. Now I am looking for more carved stones. Near Bolingey in the past there was a manor called "Trevellance". Now there is a farmhouse there, but here is a gatepost nearby. It's older than the buildings , I think. Could this be from the old manor? And this other one? I saw a big stone across this stream, like a little bridge - but now there's a proper bridge nearby. There are lots of streams around here. It is a rather watery place - though some of them are very low. There are minnows in the stream, but soon there won't be enough water for them. We need rain.
